Main Distribution Boards (MDB): A concise overview Main Distribution Boards are the central hub in a building’s electrical distribution system. MDBs help organize protection, switching, metering, and cable routing in a single, accessible enclosure. They are common in offices, hospitals, hotels, factories, and residential complexes with complex electrical needs.
